My mom loves to snorkel (because she is terrified of sharks, so scuba is out)...and I was thinking of getting her something for Mother's Day that she could use while snorkeling...

anyone have any ideas?

she already has all the basics: vest (yes a vest, it's really funny), mask, fins, snorkel, booties...

any ideas?

thanks

Jack

A little waterproof camera? they have some that don't even require housings...pentax?

How about a rash guard? ... a fish book? Marty Snyderman has a great one.

A little pelican box for money or a key?

what about a chum/lobster mesh bag so she can pick stuff up and carry it along with her on her snorkeling escapade? it beats the hell out of carrying 90 things in your hands.

diveskin, wetsuit, if she hits some depths maybe a freedive computer or inexpensive depth gauge watch like casio used to make (sometimes for as little as $30 or so at the outlet stores), an inflatable torpedo shaped dive flag. Or if you're into the bigger bucks.. how about a new snorkel mobile... a honda crv or porche suv..
