Does anyone know which divesites will be affected by the Big Sur Marathon on 4/29/07

Not certain, but I imagine that everything south of Rio Road will be unreachable.

Just got off the phone with them. Lobos is NOT closed on Sunday. However, it's going to be a little sticky getting there in the morning. You need to get in a caravan that gets escorted south.(runners in one lane, cars in the other) It looks like there is one that leaves crossroads at 8:45. You could also go later. There is another caravan at 11:00 and the road is open again in the afternoon.

Here's the caravan schedule:

I just caught this thread last night...

From reading this it appears that this run is on Sunday? If so I'm guessing that we should be good to dive on Saturday? Heading down on Friday and was going to do some beach diving to get accustomed to new equipment hone up on some dive skills.
