Ok, here we go....
I'd like to go diving next friday afternoon.....,. probably launch from the Genesee River The Laura Grace wreck? (max depth 12 feet). I have space for 3 plus me. Any interest? And as always weather dependant. I have some tanks available if anyone needs them, but please let me know ahead of time.
PM me, or email at GCFD61@aol.com.
Other site's possible depending on time....
PS. If this works, I'd like to do postings like this throughout the season. We'll see how it goes.

Too cold for me yet. I'd like the lake to be over 50!!

Me too. However, I am getting soooo impatient! The dive he mentioned was pretty shallow so I figured (at least psychologically) that it would feel warmer!

Well.... I dove today. Solo. The lake was flat calm, could see the bottom at in 40 feet of water. I dove the remains of a wreck about 11 miles west of Rochester Thanks to Heather's help with some GPS numbers. The viz was great, and i got 42 degree's on my the bottom. (not sure of surface temp, but guess is closer to 50). I also got a set of those "cheap ebay drysuit insulation" that was posted on scuba board, VERY warm!
I'll be posting more dates to go as the season progresses. I try to get out at least weekly, if not more.

I didn't do a lot of exploring. I was light on weight and since i was solo, I hung around the boat. I will be visiting this site a lot more this year! It was just nice to get in the water though! The viz was amazing though.

I'm sure you'll find some buddy or two next time.
Nice to hear you had good viz, and your undies work well.
