Hey everyone, going to the Palmeto area and the Sarasota area on May 22 any good diving in theses areas. I've dove the other side of Fla but not the Gulf side yet. Any sugestions would be greatly appreciated.

There's a great wreck 35 miles west of Sarasota named the Bayronto but good luck finding a charter going there (or anywhere else) on a Tuesday.

ScubaQuest runs a boat out of Cortez (S of Palmetto), and you can also arange a charter through Sea Trek in Bradeton Beach. There are also charters out of St.Pete up through Dunedin. Capt. Ty is runs a good boat out of St. Pete.
No pretty reefs on the west side, but our fish make the ones on the east side look like minnows!
