Can any of you Southern Florida SBers tell me whether I will have any travel issues due to the wildfires? I am flying in to Ft. Lauderdale and riving down to Key Largo tomorrow, are the fires affecting FL-821, US-1 or anywhere that far down in the state?

Thanks,

As far as I know the airlines are running on time. The smoke is visible, but not enough to cause delays. Same with the highways...just the usual traffic.

No, you're good to go unless you're crossing Alligator Alley (I-75) over to Naples. That's been closed a few times in the last week but access to the Keys hasn't been impacted at all coming out of FLL.

We flew into Lauderdale on Saturday and our flight was delayed due to smoke in Lauderdale. It was only about 45 minutes late, I think they were just spreading the planes out more. It was smokey all the way from Bahamas .

Good luck
