terrifying dive that you have ever done? We have all heard the stories about the dive that we have done, yet knew that we should have done, but did anyways. So what happened? Did it change the way you dive? Did it change the way you think before you dive?
For me is was in the early summer or 2001 in Tobermory. Four of us went to dive the Arabia. We had flat seas, clear skies, no wind, lots of sun shine and great visibility. Our problems didn;t start untill we started towords our second dive site when one of our divers started of exhibit DCS symptoms. With the captain running for harbour, we had the oxygen going and a near dead diver on our hands. To cut a long story short, Paul, the sick diver, basically had a real bad case of gas and was very red faced when he got to the recompression chanber and was feeling fine after he let a few good ones go.
We laugh about it now, but at the time, man oh man.
