Ok.. I've read and heard that there is at least one wreck near the jetties at St. Andrews. I've also read and heard that the wreck doesn't exist. Does anyone have first hand knowledge of any wreck within beach dive distance? If it's there, is it worth visiting and how can it be located?

Thanks,

I've heard of a few things in the bay, and some wreck(reefs) in the channel on the other side of shell island, but I don't know if I'd call them beach divable.

Gulf Shores, AL has several beachable wrecks - although people are tight lipped about the locations of all but one(Whiskey Wreck is known publicly). Okaloosa Island(between Fort Walton and Destin) has a sailboat(may have been salvaged?) and an old derelict thats not easily accessible by land due to the USAF owning the beach around it.
