:huh: Why do the firemen first stage on their tank is at the bottom and ours on top ??
 
So they can get to it easier to turn off and on - but with scuba - we're not really doing that much, and keeping the hoses shorter and closer is a benefit of having the reg up.

.... If I dive with a 7 foot hose, I can switch my tank upside down ???
 
Be careful sitting down!
 
i believe its so they can easily reach back and turn off/on and to avoid entanglement

our police divers have their tanks upside down also
 
to protect the 1st stages from objects ( they do a lot of crawling and climbing.)
 
The AGA double tanks are "upside down."

You might be having trouble connecting inflator hose to BC without some modifications. It should work quite well on a drysuit though.

Just requires a slightly longer hose and routing it differently.
