Got my Transplate and have a few questions about fit.

The shoulder pads seem to pull down from the top of the plate. They webbing is secure to the plate and goes though the shoulder pads. Is the top of the pad supposed to be connected to the plate. there is Velcro on the top of the shoulder pads. Why? Does this serve a purpose I not aware of.

The pads are not supposed to be connected to the bp, that is normal. Is the velcro you are talking about on the epaulets? If not, if it is on the pad, you must have a very old Transplate harness. If that is the case, and you would like to upgrade, please PM me.

The Velcros on both sides of the shoulder pads at the very top. goes from the top down about 1 to 1-1/2 inches.
