Looking for good dive firms to dive in Fort Lauderdale, just for the day in September. Any advice is greatly appreciated.
I have been looking at Prodive but would be interested to see what else is on offer

thanks
Jenny

If you have time, you can go to Sunny.org and request info for SCUBA. I got it in the other day and watched the DVD on the local SCUBA sites. My LDS owner recommended Pro Dive to me, that is where he got his DS certification.

I've used Pro Dive and had a great time. However, they are primarily a school for dive instructors, and the boat can get kinda crowed with the students. Each trip consist of one deep wreck dive, and the second dive is a shallow reef dive. Very professional and safety conscience, but I still prefer charters that tell you to be back on board with 500psi, instead of time restrictions.

Ft. Lauderdale is our playground. American Dream II at Pier 66 is a great dive operation. You can also try Lady Go Diver out of Deerfield Beach.
Great diving on wrecks or reefs.

Underpressure Charters in Pomano Talk to Capt Randy. He will only take a max of 6 divers and it is very enjoyable.
