is there any decent shark diving outfits in fl that you guys would reommend?

Ditto on Jim Abernethy (www.scuba-adventures.com). The best diving is with him on his Bahamas liveaboard which departs out of West Palm. For local shark diving in West Palm there is Shark Canyon for reef sharks which is north of West Palm and south of Jupiter (operators from both places occasionally go there). There is also good lemon shark diving up in Jupiter in the winter months. Everyone has their favorites but here are mine:
