The C-59 was intentionally sunk about 2 years ago. She is a patrol boat from the Mexican Navy. Nice and clean and good tourist attraction. Penetration is easy and there is a permanent line installed. Its almost close enough to be reached from the shore, but with the boat traffic, I suggest using any of the local dive ops to get you there.

The wreck is in I believe 80ft of water and is a very easy dive. It was intentionally sunk for an artificial reef. Its a C-53 Mine sweeper which was originally owned by the US and sold to Mexico. Here are some pics I took of it a couple of years ago.
