Dive buddy and I are going to Smittys cove on Friday just to get some bottom Time. Anyone been there reciently? If so, what are the conditions/Vis?

I dove it Sunday. The weather was windy, overcast and low 60's. Water temp was 48F at approximately 35'-95' and was around 50F shallower. Visibility was typical at 5'-10' at best. Low tide (peak at at 8:30a) during the first dive exemplified a lack of fish. By our second dive just before noon, the fish had returned. You probably picked the only nice day for Whittier.
