Blackbeard's SINGLES Cruise!!!

Woohoo! Just heard that Blackbeard's Cruises in the Bahamas announced a SINGLES cruise on November 10th!

I drilled them with questions. I was calling to find out about their REEF trip and found out about that also. They said they used to do them all the time and they used to be dominated by males, so they stopped for a while. I guess it was a major sausage party. But they will be monitoring the balance between between males/females more closely this time.

I'm thinking of booking ...anyone else heard about this, done this thinking about this? I am still trying to decide between the REEF trip or the Singles trip.

I899.00 + taxes for the week
includes all your meals, snacks, booze, tanks, weights & 3-4 dives per day.

Maybe part of the problem was that people were signing up for a trip with someone named Mermaid, only to find out that mermaid is a man. She's a man....baby....

I wouldn't think of it unless BlackBeard posts pictures, measurements and income levels of the female participants (males, too, for the ladies). Of course I'm kidding about the measurements since I'm a leg man.

LOL.......photos might suffice....hahah. I have heard blackbeard's is great anyway, so I was just curious if anyone has taken one of their singles cruise and if so how it was?

Hey! I just got back from a Blackbeards/REEF trip. I didn't know they were doing another one.
When is the trip you're considering? What is the focus? Is it a lionfish hunt?

One advantage of the REEF trips is that your expenses are tax deductible.

I find it odd that Blackbeards singles trips turned out to be mostly men. The trips I've taken with them have been all single women and married men who were travelling without their non-diving wives.

I did a Blackbeards singles cruise several years ago and had a great time. When I went it was about 50/50 male female on the boat. Crew included. Had a great time. I will definitely consider doing it again, although I don't have the vacation time left to do it now.
