Questions about a ss uv18

I have the oppertunity to buy a UV18 scooter. The scooter is 5 -6 years old. What do you think it is worth? I am concerned that I am going to spend all this money on a 5 year old scooter and then spend money to get it repaired. What the life expectency of these scooters?

Of course as with any piece of equipment, it depends on it's history. The UV18 is a solid reliable scooter. You can have someone who knows these scooters check it out but chances are, as with most scooters, it has relatively low hours.
