Aeris Epic - does not change to Norm DC

after three dives today i was trying to access the log on the Epic.
press M for 2 sec, the computer switches to free dive mode... i press the M for 2 more seconds and i get flashing Norm and after ~5 seconds it reverts back to the free dive mode.
i did not dive in free dive mode.

once you get the flashing "'norm", press and release the upper left button (M). This should "lock" it into norm mode. Once you do this, the Norm will stop flashing.
