Im a new diver, Thinkin about buying this regulator does anyone have it or can tell me anything about it? Is it good do you like it? is it harder to breathe at depth, or as tank pressure goes down? just trying to get some info.

- Thanks guys, Rox

p.s. I posted the wrong name on another post lol

please post to this one, the other topic, i put wrong name

Decent entry level regulator.

Workhorse of the rental industry in Mexico as far as I could see. I saw them everywhere.

Warm water, not too deep and you'll be fine.

JMHO

whats not to deep? recreational dive limits???

Does anyone else dive with this regulator?

Rox, why don,t you post this in the Mares Forum. You probably have better chances finding someone who has used the R2 there..

Cheers!

Why dont you Buy a Scuba pro MK 11 /R395 reg, its a sound good breathing reg for a reasonible price.
It was testers choice reg , great reviews
I have been down to 300 psi and couldnot notice any difference in breathing effort, actually it breathed easier.
i would dive 130 ft with it ,overbalanced diaphram first, good sound downstream second, very dependable set up.
