Watched a decent documentary last nite about diving with Mako's in the Poor Knights in New Zealand.
Apparently a particular dive boat would encourage mako frenzies by putting out chum and then dropping a few divers in cages, whereas...
just on the other side of a pinnacle, there were other dive charters who were not there for mako activity, but just for some good dives (ie, they did not have cages).
I don't know a whole lot about mako's and have never seen one while diving, but would this bother any of you, knowing that a bare 100 metres away there was intentional feeding frenzies and also increased numbers of mako's due to feedings?
Any thoughts, opinions, comments?
