can be used underwater. Most common are the Ritchie brand shown in the attached image.

They are available from a number of sources, both online and LDS.

One thing I've always wondered about them... since they are done in pencil, can you erase and re-use them ???

How many of you use them as back up for your deco stops, how many for scribbling under water? I put one on my 50/50, one on my 100%, and a last chance in my hip pocket! If I want to convey a message I use a slate....

I just use an Etch-A-Sketch. Just give it a little shake and its all clear for your next message.
