For those who follow such things, LAUPS (the LA Underwater Photographic Society) has announced the results and winning images from their 45th Annual International Competition. You can see the winners here: LAUPS Results. There are some absolutely amazing images in there. The pictures are wonderful to look at to get ideas for yourself and your photography, to improve your skills, or simply to wonder at.
In addition, for those of you who live in the LA area, this is a terrific group of people who get together once a month, have lots of mini-competitions, etc. Joining a group like this (and there are several across the country) is a way of interacting with others, asking questions, learning and improving your skill and vision.
