Hi,

I really like the idea of bidirectional octopuses like Dacor Viper, Mares MV, Oceanic Omega II. Can I use one of those with Apeks ATX50 DST first stage?
Now I have Aqualung XLC octopus. Can it be used with ATX50 too?
Here is the one:

As long as Poseidon is not in the equation you can hang virtually anything on there that you want. A slight adjustment may be required on the alternate second if the first stage IP is different than the original alternate was tune for.

Yes you can the main concern is the Ip the first stage. all of the regs you mention would be ok you would only need to have a technician tweek them to go together. I use the omega II as a Oct and love it my daughter has them as main and safe second.

I think you'll just need a replacement plug from your LDS to plug the larger hose opening.
