I am planning a trip (not a dedicated dive trip) to Asia mid March. Thinking of using Bangkok as the hub and traveling some from there; Thailand,Vietnam, Cambodia, but really it is open. I am trying to figure out how (or if) to fit Palau into the trip.
Is there any cheap way to get to Palau? Continental seems to be +usd 1000 from Manila and then I still have to get to Manila. Asian Air appears not to have service. Are there any other options? or do I scrap this idea and dive while in Thailand and possibly a dive or two in Vietnam and still have a great trip?
Thanks

Try Far Eastern Air Transport (FAT) out of Tawain.

You might find better rates coming out of Narita or Tawain to Palau.

I was wondering if they had wider seats...:eyebrow:

Direct flights from Narita are rare nowadays. They are generally run only at peak season (and probably pretty pricey). Our best option when we were looking into it was to go through Guam, but that requires an overnight stay. Air from Japan to Guam is cheaper than to Manila.

Hi - I'm having the same issue with Continental; however if you take direct flights from Manila to Koror (only on Wednesday 21:45 or Friday 22:10) then price seems to come down $577. The $1000+ flights are the ones that route through Guam from Manila
