resource pro problems

Hi,, I have a genesis resource pro that is not working properly .. At times it will not shut its self off,, and no amount of shaking the water out of it will turn it off. I know
It is suppose to stay on for 24 hr.,,, but this thing will stay on for a week or weeks!
Other times it will shut off within minuets after surfacing. After turning it back on
I noticed the pre dive plan mode gives incorrect information,, like I never dove a few minuets ago. My LDS seams to think I am doing something wrong. He clams to have never seen one go bad.. But how can I be doing wrong with a unit that is suppose to work with out even touching it. Has anyone ever heard of such a thing?

I've got a React Pro and had this problem once. The React Pro is the nitrox version of what you have.

Soak it in fresh water for a day or so. churn it around. chances are you've got some sand or salt in the sensor area. soaking mine in fresh water took care of the problem.

while this doesn't happen much, it is common to see sometimes with all computers.
