I just returned from a 3 day hotel stay and used the glasses. Now I am totally grossed out and will bring my own drinking glasses from now on. H2Andy January 6th, 2008, 05:41 PM yeah, i've basically assumed nothing is clean and acted accordingly for a long time i just use the single-use cups wrapped in cellophane and hope of course, i cringe when i go out to eat at restaurants ... but ... heck ... that which doesn't kill you  almitywife January 6th, 2008, 05:44 PM hmmmmmmmmm i feel sorry for those cleaners..... min wage and i suspect they gonna get their backsides kicked they also would have got them kicked if they spent their time getting fresh glasses for every room and sending hundreds of glasses to the kitchen to be cleaned each day justleesa January 6th, 2008, 05:45 PM In the past I've been to some hotels and after checking in and seeing the room, my next stop was the grocery store. But these places looked "clean"...slackers... One would think that adding some glasses to their cart and swapping them out shouldn't take as long as spraying them with Windex, wiping them down, grabbing and smelling a wash rag to dry them off with.... rollerboi January 7th, 2008, 06:55 PM Deja vu.. :) http://www.scubaboard.com/forums/general-travel-vacation-discussions/213530-hotel-room-drinking-glasses.html I don't use the cups if they ain't wrapped. If I have to, I'll wash it off first with some soap. Wildcard January 11th, 2008, 01:36 AM Whats the problem? Thats how I do it at home.;)
