I looked all over the SeaLife litearture that came with my Reefmaster Mini and my Mini Wide Angle lens for focus data when shooting wide angle, without success. I decided to go to the source and ask for the info. I got back a quick, informative response that I received permission to post here. So, this is for the benefit of us Reefmaster Mini fans.

Hi Joel,

I hope the following helps.

SL320 On Land:
Focus range (LAND) Macro: 60 ~ 100cm (2ft to 3ft)
Normal: 100cm~infinity (3ft to infinity)

SL320 Underwater:
Focus range (UW) Macro: 45cm to 75cm (1.5ft to 2.5ft)
Normal: 75cm to infinity (2.5ft to infinity)

SL320 Underwater (WithOUT Mini Wide Angle lens (SL973)
Macro: 45cm (1.5ft) to 75cm (2.5 ft)
Normal: 75cm (2.5ft) to infinity)

SL320 Underwater (WITH Mini Wide Angle lens (SL973)
Macro: 30cm (12") to 75cm (30")
Normal: 45cm (18") to infinity

Wow, that's pretty pitiful. One foot with a wide angle lens!!

Even my old obsolete Sony does 4"s to infinity.

You're absolutely right. This is not the camera/lens combination for anyone wanting to shoot in focus images from 0" to 12". Otherwise it's great.
