I have a problem with my "equipment". Nature has blessed me with a very large undercarriage, which obviously has its benefits, but after a couple of hours in a wetsuit gets very uncomfortable. Any other "overhung" gents out there have any tips as to how to correct this?

I believe you need to look up a "Mrs. Bobbitt". I think she can take care of your problem.
If you are *really* having a comfort problem, I would think your wetsuit is too small.

My advice would be to dive extremely cold water.Once you hit that cold water all problems will be solved. :D

You could always get a drysuit theres plenty of extra room in them.

Two options.
1. Have your local wetsuit repair person add tool pouch/sock to the front of your wetsuit.
2. Cut a hole in your wetsuit and let it hang out. If you prefer this option then several other options become available. For example, you could put a D-ring in it and use it for scootering (this will require you to shorten your tow chord, though), or for hanging extra spools, reels, camera, or whatever.

Surely the DIR solution would be to cut it off- unnecessary drag in the water and at best a distraction from diving?

I think the DIR approach would require you to attach cave line to the "equipment" and a SS snap bolt so u can clip it off, thus reducing drag.

Don't forget to paint it tekkie black, unless you intend to use it as a safely sausage.

You'd have to bag it for it to qualify as a safety sausage.

this went down hill fast....sooooo, you also, with it out side of the wet suit, use it like the fish with the lure attached to them, and get some very confused fish while spear fishing....:bonk: :bonk:

:(
A cheaper alternative to the dry suit is a semi-dry. Thats what I use....but not for the same reasons.;-0
Or maybe wearing a jockstrap w/ a cup (that fits of course

If you dive cooler waters, invest in a drysuit and save the family jewels. The wife or girlfriend will much appreciate it! ;)
If you dive in warmer waters get a thinner thickness wetsuit and or get one size bigger than you normally wear.
Me personally, I invested in a drysuit. I got tired of pealing on and off the wetsuit and the wife wants kids later. So it was easy to justify the cost.
Good Luck!
