To see if I can get images to embed in my post.

That didn't work either. I have some photos upload Picasa WebAlbums. Is there a way to link to the WebAlbum so that the photo is embedded in my post.

I know this can be done from the ScubaBoard Photo Gallery but can it be done from other online locations?

Thanks for the help.

Also, make sure you have the option in your own user control panel set to show inline images. (I'm not seeing yours right now though, so you need to use the img tags not just the http:// tag.)

Example:

[_IMG_]http://farm2.static.flickr.com/1139/1363024805_d5ae26a7f2_b.jpg[_/IMG_]

(remove the underscores from inside the square brackets above...I really shouldn't do this from Flickr since their license says if you use a photo in another website you should link to flickr, not directly to the image. Not sure how "board postings" vs. "use in a website" applies though....)

Example:

[_IMG_]http://farm2.static.flickr.com/1139/1363024805_d5ae26a7f2_b.jpg[_/IMG_]

(remove the underscores from inside the square brackets above.
Instead of adding/removing underscores - on this board just use the noparse vbcode:

[plain][IMG]http://farm2.static.flickr.com/1139/1363024805_d5ae26a7f2_b.jpg[/IMG][/plain]

Note: I used noparse twice in this example to show the use of the noparse command in the code.

IMG_0015.jpg

Click on a thumbnail in your Picasa gallery and load the photo.
Right click on the photo and click properties.
In the box that pops up copy the entire content of the address(URL) box.

In your 2nd try above you copied 2 lines but missed the part after the ?. You have to scroll down while the content is selected to include the third line.

Then hit the img tag here and past in the code. It looks like this:

[img]http://lh4.google.com/rickgreatting/R3xkuGWPheI/AAAAAAAAAC8/ZKCJnoOfMz0/IMG_0015.jpg?imgmax=512[/img]

They sure don't make it easy...:shakehead:

Hi,

If your pics are of a small box with a little red X in it then yes, I can see them just fine.

jepuskar,

Well I don't remember seeing that in my view finder but I must have since that is what showed up here :)
