Anybody Interested in Making A trip out to the Destin Jetties????

I was wanting to go out and dive the Destin Jetties sometime soon and just wondering if anyone was interested in going???? I could make the trip out there on either a weekday or weekend, i'm pretty flexable. I have never dove this site so I don't know the particulars of the site so I would prefer to go with at least one person who knows the place pretty good, but I guess it's not mandatory. So does anyone wanna start throwing around some dates???

Maybe we could even track down the elusive sea yoda lurking around the jetties somewhere.

I love diving the jetties...always some good pictures to be had. I have pasted some of the tides for February 1-14. We have to hit the jetties at high tide....so, do you see any dates and times that look good? Sunday, February 10th, High Tide is at 3:40 PM. I am ready to make a jetty dive, lets see if we can get a date to work out.

We have a lot of good options....how about Callahans at their new place. I have driven by it a few times but haven't been in there since they have moved....but, I am open to any place.....yes Mat I know, Destin also has a Hooters.

The new place is good, alot bigger than the old one. I went there this past Fall with one of the ex's(LOL). Same great food though!

I am supposed to get out to the YDT's on the 9th so the 10th at Destin Jetties would make that weekend the suppa' duppa' scuba weekend. Let me make sure that my wife isn't going to have all my clothes sitting on the front porch after doing this before I commit to anything. I'll get back soon. This would be a good just in case we get blown out dive to make the weekend not a total loss....this is sounding better the more I think about it. THe weather even looks like it will be good (I know its still too far out to predict) but here is what www.accuweather.com is saying about that weekend:

Its on Hw98 now, northside of the road. In the same parking lot as some bank, Popeyes, and a few other things. I believe its just west of the Main St./Hwy98 Intersection.

Unless I'm working in the area, which typically means much shorter notice, yep - weekends are better.

I talked to my wife this morning and she gave me the thumbs up on diving on the tenth. You guys want to move this thread to the trips forum for feb 10th?
