SDHC card compatible with Epson PictureMate?

I have an Epson PictureMate photo printer. Also use an SDHC memory card for my Canon camera - this is new. I want to print photos on my SDHC memory card but I am not able too. The reason is the PictureMate is not able to recognize the card.

Has anyone else had problems getting their PictureMate to recognize the SDHC? The card is formated by the camera, could that be an issue? I did not have a problem with the printer recognizing the xD card from my Olympus that I no longer use.

Let me know if others have had issues or what you do to use your SDHC with the PictureMate.
