Hello - I am interested in purchasing a new regulator and was curious if anyone could give a good comparison between the RG2500 vs the RG3000. I have found a good deal on the older 2500 and was wondering how much of a difference is the new 3000. I know they have changed the venturi lever and state it is easier to breath. Is this true or is the only change the venturi lever? Is the new one worth almost twice the cost for the new upgrades? Thanks for any advice.

I think the RG3000 is a pretty big improvement over the 2500. The first stage is the same, but the second stage uses a much more reliable air tube assembly and the venturi is much better controlled on the RG3000. I send you a PM with the particulars. Thanks.
