The Cold War of last week lasted about 10 days before it almost literally deflated. Each day pressure has been falling and cold forces seem to be in full retreat. From widespread temperatures in the -60F to -70F range now there are spring time temperatures hovering around a few degrees below zero to nearly freezing.

But, warning notices have been issued that some forces are marshalling in Siberia and preparing for another march on Northern North America. It is now a race between reinforcements from the Pacific and the high pressure troops from the West.

Only time will tell who wins the next round.
