Hey,

I dive around here(bay of fundy) all year and this winter I have had some of the best visibility this year, this winter. Lots of life out there, wolf fish, pout. The Lobsters don't Hybernate. they head to deeper water where temperatures stay around 65'+ 40F and not fluctuate between 32-40Fin the shallows..... There is also some decent vis in the summer as long as there has been a lot a rain during the week.

Great pics you have... vis.. looked to be really good the times you were out.. 15-30ft is the norm for winter.. and usually summer especially in the Bay of fundy with the highest tides in the world...

So you still see fish in the Bay of Fundy in the winter? In Halifax, I was told they don't show up again until Spring. For most of those pictures, the visibility was 6-15 feet, but the wide angle lens makes everything seem much farther away, thus "improving" the visibility.

In the winter, the abundance of marine life sharply diminishes around Halifax.
