If Spring-SpringFest doesn't hold enough shinanigans and debauchery to keep held over, FL Conch Divers are holding their bi-annual Megadive at Ginnie Springs. Everyone is invited and there is diving onsite for all levels of diving. There are caves for those certified to that extent. Several caverns available to those certified. Ginnie's mainspring ballroom, a nicely sized cavern, is even open to OW divers as its fairly forgiving without silt or clay to kick up. There is also a nice little spring run from Little Devils which, goes over Devils Eye, and Ear(in the river); as well as the basin for Ginnie Spring's mainspring for those strictly looking to stay in OW. If the river is clear enough, its quite fun to drift dive from the Devils system to Ginnie's main run.
There will be cooking out, breakfast, maybe a little drinking
, and everyone will be having fun. They have a great bunch of divers over there that enjoy meeting other divers. Plenty to do for the non-diving family as well.
In the same area as Ginnie are several other very nice springs to visit that can suit several levels of diving experience. Definately a trip to consider!
