Two of us dove today. Partly cloudy to cloudy skies with some wind. Air temp was 60 and water temp a balmy 49 degrees :14: (hey , warmer than a couple of weeks ago). Vis varied from 12' on the rocks and plane to about 5' on the 3 big rocks to 10' on the 80' wall. I dove my 7mm Xcel jumpsuit with hooded vest. Dive was to max depth of 95' for 1:01. I took the time today to show my dive buddy how to use natural navigation and compass to find stuff in our local swimming hole. We began our dive down to the 3 big rocks (lots of small fish here) and then descended to the 80' wall (no lights needed). We dove the entire 80'wall and dropped down to the 100' wall (shallower today of course due to lower lake levels - but we are up a foot from a few weeks ago). Small fish sited along the wall. We then angled up to the 65' ledge and upward to the big stump before turning South along the 54' ledge (42' today). We swam past the bouy markers, dropped into the trench and swam past the angel statue to the 40' ledge with the new exciting addition of the T-Rex skull :11: - well maybe it's a horse head skull) on the big flat rock. Swimming past the budda statue on the rock we dropped down to the pool filters, back to the 3 big rocks and onward to the plane where we saw a few large hybrid bass. Then it was extended safety stop time along the rocks and our exit. Nice day of diving. Looking forward to the warming temps in Ma:14:rch
