I'm looking for info on how to get a decent, new (not used) BP/W setup for as little $$$ as possible.

I assume that will be a hog harness, ss plate wing and tank adapter. What other hardware is needed (buckle, d-rings, etc?)?

What's the cheapest way to do this?

Thanks!

I have a zeagle bpw and dont need a sta, so i saved money there

standard harness came with d-rings and buckle

cheers

Well, I know where you can get a SS backplate for $100.

In my opinion, this is the best way to go for a new plate.

Hammerhead Scuba - Hammerhead II Backplate

Add a suitable wing and tank straps, and you're good to go. I have an Oxycheq wing, so that is what I would recommend, but I think any are good as long as the lift is appropriate.

Watch for Golem Gear specials, too. They have had some amazing sales.

Backplates can be safely bought used as well, since it's pretty hard to damage one.

What's the cheapest way to do this?

ScubaBoard "Gear / Equipment Classifieds" for sure.
