1.
I have the new model VR3 and am wondering how everyone else is mounting it. It is so heavy that I initially decided to hang it from a d-ring and grab it as needed. However, I find it difficult to use at night when ascending without a line trying to hold a light in one hand, your deflator in the the other, and needing to activate the buttons on the VR3 to illumunate the unit. Accordingly, I put the wrist strap on it and moved it to my arm. However, the unit is so heavy that you have to sinch it down until it cuts off your circulation. Any ideas or solutions?

I am thinking of purchasing the planning software/interface for the unit. Has anyone else used it? If so, do you recommend it? Any info on the new cradle that they are supposed to come out with?

Thanks in advance!

I wear mine on my arm, snug but not overly tight. I don't find it to be a problem.

I don't have the interface. Check with MadMole, he uses VR3s too and has a ton of knowledge about them.
