Pardon me, but I may have asked this earlier. Had brain fart I think.
Any one use that little loop Riffe offers to act like a muzzle?
Does it hold the shaft in place?
Does the shaft ever "snag"?
Thanks

I have. It doesn't really act like a muzzle, it just prevents the spear from falling off when you turn the gun upside down, enter on rough surf, jump out of a boat, etc.

It keeps the spear from falling off, doesn't really hold the shaft inside the rails. Another option to hold the shaft inside the rails is to install a magnet in the stock underneath the track. That will prevent the shaft from falling off track when the gun is turned upside down. Many places do this installation if you don't want to do it yourself, Blue Water Hunter in Kona, HI did one for me years ago. If the shaft is resting on the lip while the gun is upside down it will. Otherwise it will not.
Hope this helps!!!
