I just look at the lake level for Jocassee. It was 79.8. How dose this relate to the remote boat ramp? The last time I was down. The ramp was almost out of the water.

I also did a class today thursday June 5th, 2008 at the ramp. The first platform is still damaged and was is 11 feet, the line that runs from the second platform to the bones family was torn apart. so if I don't get back to repair it you may still find them by using the old steel platform that is in three feet of water to the left of the ramp, that yellow line is still intact. at 60 feet the water was 66 degrees and at 25 feet it was 72 degrees with excellent mid week 20 foot vis.

i was there on the 6th all day, and at 9am about a foot of the ramp was under. by midday, the ramp was out of the water
I'll be there on June 10th, so hopefully it will be back up at least a little.

I dive at the diver's ramp every week-end now, and I think a good "rule of thumb" is: If the water level is 74 or below, the end of the ramp is probably out of the water.
That could be off a foot either way, but I think its close.
