Packed with all twelve 2007 issues of Scuba Diving Magazine articles, this CD includes 1,244 pages of unbiased travel articles, exclusive vacation bargains, objective gear reviews and expert training tips and techniques that you can search by keyword, take with you on your laptop or print to use during your dive trip.

Here's a look at some of the highlights you'll find on this easy-to-use CD:

The World's Best Wrecks
From the Atlantic Ocean and the South Pacific to the Great Lakes and Caribbean Sea, it's all here in our ultimate guide to wreck diving adventure.

The Best Dive Gear of 2007
Over the past 12 months, ScubaLab has tested or reviewed more than 180 items of gear. Here are our staff favorites, from cutting-edge dive computers and regulators to basic accessories.

Lessons for Life
Our Training Editor presents 12 real-life diving accidents, deconstructs them, and shows you not only how you can learn from them but how you can save your butt in the process.

Readers' Choice Awards Top 100
In our 14th Readers' Choice Awards, we present the best places on the planet for divers to find pulse-pounding big animals, dizzying deep walls, massive wrecks and much more.

The 25 Greatest Diving Photos of All Time
Our team of top underwater photographers collaborated to find the best underwater images ever taken. The result is a collection of photographs that will delight, amaze and inspire you.

2007 World Dive Guide
Pack your gear and grab your passport -- you've got a lot of diving to do. Our annual guide to the planet's best dive destinations is both a wish list and a practical guide to jump-starting your next dive adventure. Don't let the year slip away without diving at least one of these 28 dive meccas.

Now THIS solves the problem of storing the two different magazine formats! Kudos. Too bad there isn't a way to subscribe to it ahead of time, but of course that can't be done!

I do still wish the "World Dive Guide" covered more of the diving world... say Africa and South America (outside of the Galapagos). Maybe even Antarctica (although I can't afford that trip unless I go with Lindblad who I've worked with).

Bill,

I guarantee we used the standard CD sizing for this product, so it will definitely fit properly into your CD rack.

Nick,

You should offer this as a adjunct to the regular subscription. I'd gladly pay a few dollars more for it along with the monthly copy. Do you have CDs from years prior to 2007??

PS> Any discount for current subscribers??

Hello,

Thanks for the feedback, and this is a good idea.

Currently we have only the 2007 CD available, but we're working on years past, including 2005 and 2006.

Thanks and regards,
Nick

I was going to suggest this also....

however, you'd have to wait till the end of the year to get it.

You could fix it so that you could download the entire magazine (for paying subscribers) off the scubadiving.com website each month. (PDF format, etc).

or heck, distribute it free that way in PDF. That way you increase your numbers of viewers for your advertisers. Afterall it's advertisers that like to see their ads viewed more.

Hey Nick,

What a cool thing you're doing with the CD of issues. You guys are doing one hell of a job on all fronts. People love the new look and feel of your mag, I'm one of them.

Keep the enthusiasm going my friend, it's working.

Whew! I was pretty certain you were using standard CD disks. Didn't want to have to deal with the storage issues I have with my 8", 5 1/4" and 3 1/2" floppy discs (yes, I still have hundreds if not thousands of them)! Just teasing, Nick.

I was part of the original floppy disk era. Remember having to flip the little tab over once you inserted the disk to make the computer read it?

Now that I'm older, the term "floppy disk" takes on a whole new meaning.
