Anyone know what wet weight I should assume for a Halcyon Aluminum backplate?

Response back from Halcyon:
"For the Al backplate underwater it would be the same as on land - approximately 2 lbs."
&
"With your STA and such on the aluminum plate, 4 lbs. Your SS plate alone is just under 6 lbs, with the STA it's almost 8 pounds"

Aluminum has a specific gravity of about 2.62

(2.62-1)/2.62 = 62%

If you have 2 lbs of solid aluminum it will be about 1.2 lbs when submerged.

Stainless has a specific gravity of about 7.86

(7.86-1)/7.86 = 87%

If you have 5 lbs of solid Stainless it will be about 4.3 lbs negative when submerged.
