Scuba Diving and Travel Expo Comes to Pacific Northwest first time in 25 years
This special event combines an exciting Treasure Hunt and Deep Ambitions Career Fair with a traditional trade show for a unique and powerful consumer experience.
Tacoma WA, - Northwest Dive News Magazine announces the establishment of the first ever Northwest Dive & Travel Expo. Set for May 3 and 4 at Greater Tacoma Convention and Trade Center, this show will give consumers a special opportunity to see the spectacular sport of scuba diving which offers a variety of choices all over the world. The show also offer the public a chance to see the fantastic diving right here in the Puget Sound.

The value packed Expo is the first consumer Dive and Travel Show in Pacific Northwest in more than 25 Years. This one-of-a-kind show features more than 120 exhibits, 80 seminars, and a professionally directed underwater photo and video film festival. The show also includes a huge scuba demo pool sponsored by AquaQuip Pools, the largest pool and spa dealer in the Puget Sound. The Expo features a nationally recognized FREE enrichment program called Deep Ambitions which introduces young people to careers in the scuba diving industry.
The Dive & Travel Expo has created a truly balanced consumer event for the divers of the Pacific Northwest. Compared to all of the other consumer dive shows currently being conducted in the United States, this show has the highest percentage of manufacturing exhibitors, the highest percentage of retail dive center exhibitors, the highest percentage of non-profit service organization exhibitors, and the highest percentage of charter dive boat exhibitors. More than 150 companies have partnered with the expo including all the leading dive certification agencies, the major dive equipment manufacturers, photography and videography companies, travel agencies, dive centers, publishing agencies, authors and dive celebrities. Non-dive companies like Borders Books and Best Buy have also partnered with the Expo in order to connect with this active and discriminating consumer segment.
