There is a beach behind the library and I have seen people snorkel there but why I do not know. Milemarker 81-82 bayside
Yes the Library is on Islamorada at MM81.5 bayside. I have heard that there is some good snorkeling there, but haven't been there myself. If you go please let an uninformed local know how you liked it.

Well I found the library and pulled it to check it out. There is a small fenced in playground behind it ( locked) and the area surrounding that is also fenced with No trespassing signs. So unfortunately I didnt find a way to the water, so I cant report on how the snorkeling is.

I know they have manatee in there maybe that's why.
