Diving Gear for Spearfishing

What kind of gear set up do you use for spearfishing? Has anyone got any creative ideas? There are a few guys around here that have gone to a back plate and wing set up - not really a DIR, but more of a stripped down version to be more stream lined.

Mask, fins, snorkel, wetsuit, weight belt.

On Scuba: Zeagle Stiletto BC, Flathead XP regulator, Octo-Z, Hoseless computer & compass on recoilers, HP Steel nitrox tanks, Cressi 2000 long fullfoot fins, Black Seavision Rx silicone mask, fairly low volume. No snorkel. Deep: 30 cu ft deco bottle. 120 H-valve tank, second Flathead XP.

Freediving: C4 Falcon fins, rubber Marsailles style weightbelt, same Rx mask as scuba. Cressi snorkel.

Scuba (shallow): Mares Expedition BC, Atomic Z2 on a 30'' hose, Tusa Duo-Air, Aeris Atmos computer, compass in pocket, HP steel tanks, Cressi 2000 HF fullfoot fins (warm water), Mares Avanti Quattro fins (colder water and beach dives), Riffe Nadia mask (mirrored lens), rubber weight belt, UK D8 Light (35-10 W).

Scuba (deep): Atomic Z2 (7ft. primary), 40 cu pony, Genesis OZ (22'' necklace) (pony), Highland SPG (pony).

All regs are DIN.

Freediving: same mask, fins, weightbelt, Omer zoom snorkel.

Oneil and BWH wetsuits.
