Just wanted to post a good-news-bad-news comment about my XR-2 for those thinking of getting one. After less than 10 dives, the computer wouldn't stop displaying "H2O" and the backlight stopped working. The good news is Aeris promptly replaced it for me (got it back in 7 days), although they replaced my 10 dives computer with a used one whose history I know nothing about. They were friendly throughout the ordeal.
I'm somewhat satisfied with the resolution. Although in return I got a probably-more-used computer than the one I bought, I'm happy that they honored the warranty even though I bought it from Sports Chalet who apparently recently withdrew from being an authorized Aeris dealer.
