I was out last week with a guy who does this. It's so badass.

And you'd be real lucky to not go for a ride lineshafting
 
Man! I watched some of their other videos and it seems as if the others divers support whoever has a fish. Shooter holds the gun and another diver knifes the fish.

I may be way off kilter here, but that's my observation...
