Hi,

I lost my Padi Open Diver cert card. Looked over the whole house- found just the Welcome Letter from Padi but not the card. :(

Probably put it "somewhere safe" then got thrown out by accident.

How do I get a replacement card and how much how I have to pay for it?

Do it online and it's only $30.

As soon as you order the new card, you'll find the old one. Never fails.

That's a good idea. I just checked online and PADI is charging $50 for the replacement. It seems excessive.

Brilliant! I would have never thought of this.

It would only be $50 if you wanted priority processing. $35 for the normal process.

A replacement card may be necessary under the following circumstances:

You've changed your name (include a copy of legal documentation of name change).
You are upgrading from any PADI Junior Diver certification.
You would like to replace your existing card with a Project AWARE Edition Certification Card.
Your PADI Diver certification was lost.
Your PADI Diver certification was damaged. To view and/or print a copy of this file, you'll need to have the latest version of Adobe Reader™ (http://www.adobe.com/) installed on your computer. If you are having downloading, viewing or printing problems with PDF files, please check Adobe's website (http://www.adobe.com/).
Please mail the form along with your photo and a $35US processing fee to the following address. Add $15US for priority processing.

If you go to your PADI dive center, and they do PIC on line, there is a 6 day turnaround right now.

I got my friend to find my PADI number online- and I'll just use that in the meantime whilst I hunt for that PADI cert card. It'll probably show up sometime.

You can find your number yourself. If you go through the steps on the link I posted, step four or five will have your number. Once you have your number, you can setup a profile on the PADI website. Makes it easier to find the number in the future.

My wife had to get a new card last week. I did it online and she had the new card in about 4 days. Again, $30 using the online system. You will need a jpeg for the picture.

Anyone else have the rating disappearing off of their PADI card? I have the blue card with the dolphin, says type of rating only on the dolphin side, not on the side with my name, number, etc. The printed gold Advanced Open Water is wearing off, and the clear plastic layer on which it is printed is peeling off.

The turn around for a new card is fast if you do it online. Mine took about a week.

I'm going to Bonaire in 2 weeks. I'm missing my AOW card but I do have my PADI rescue diver and night diver cards. Will those work to prove to the dive op that I'm certified or should I get a replacement card before I go? Thanks!

Rescue card should work just fine.
