Is anyone interested in a couple of dives up in Toby next Saturday (May 3rd)?
I'm just thinking a couple of easy shore dives to wash off the rust that developed over the winter. I don't have a ton of dives under my belt so keeping it easy....
I'm open to other locations if anyone has any ideas!

Adam,
Toby is still a bit on the cool side for me (ever since I got that dry suit - my tolerance has disappeared:D). I dove the St. Clair River on Sunday and had a water temp of 46 degrees so I would think Toby would be in the high 30's or so.
I will be doing a shore dive in the Detroit river on May 4th and depending on weather, may be doing the St. Clair again on May 3rd. You are welcome to drive down to the Chatham area although it might be too far from Waterloo for you.
Cheers,
Aaron

Where are you diving on the Detroit River? We are denied access from the U.S. side.
Thanks,

We dove the lower end of the river - around the town of Amherstburg. We dove a site we refer to as "Hidden Lake". It is a man-made cut in the island just north of Boblou Island (sorry - not sure of the exact name of the island).
I have heard that getting permission to dive the Detroit river is becomeing harder and harder. Its been a couple years since we dove the upper river but even then we had to jump through some hoops to get to dive it. I was hoping to dive the upper river again this year but we'll have to see if that is even possible anymore.
