Checkout the United Divers of Central Massachusetts. The club meets the third Thursday (5/15 is the next) of each month (except December) at Slattery's in Fitchburg and has many active divers. I'm sure you would have no problem finding someone to split travel costs with you. There is no obligation to join and you can find plenty of buddies. Hope to see you there.

and go 495 to Rte. 2 to Cape Ann so maybe we could meet up on the way. Heck, I'll even take you with me on my boat if you can develop a quick case of amnesia about where we go
