So here it is 2010. 4 months ago I bought a BC that, I was told by the sales rep, is an
Omega Aquatics BC. It looks just like the Rebel but the back inflate material is not the slick stuff that the rebel is made of but rather heavy nylon similar to most other BC,s. No manufacterur name on the SN lable SN #OA1007239 Rated for 48# lift. Material and design of US origin, Assembled in Mexico. It is back inflate, has a removeable bladder, wieght dump pockets, trim pockets, comfortable removable back pad, heavy duty lift handle, lots of D rings, and very adjustable. Ive dove it 15 times now and love it. The one thing of intrest is, on the 1st dive of the day, the back suport pad is very buoyant, but once it has been to depth and soaked up water decent is normal when properly wieghted.
