It seems to me that the 3 mentioned models are basically the same. Am I overlooking something?
 
D6 = D9 -/- air integration.

D4 (the new Mosquito) = D6 -/- compass
 
For what it's worth, I've never used the compass on my D9 and my Cobra doesn't have one.
 
Mosquito < D4 < Stinger < D6 < D9 is how I see it.

The mosquito is the cheap plastic relative of the stinger
The D4 is closer to the Stinger but lacks gauge mode, but has deep stops (I think)
The D6 has a compass and deep stops, and 2 gases
The D9 has compass and deep stops, 3 gases and is wireless air integrated
 
Yes, the D4 has deep stops.
